From booking your date to showing up ready, here's everything you need to know about working with Mood Beauty Society.

BOOKING 

What services do you offer?

Mood Beauty Society offers professional hair styling and makeup services for weddings, special events, photoshoots, and any other occasions worth getting glammed for. Whether your looking for soft, romantic, glam, or something a little more bold and expressive, services are tailored to your desired look and personal style.

Do you travel for weddings and events?

Yes! Travel services may be available for weddings and events. Travel fees and any applicable additional charges will be discussed during the booking process.

How far in advanced should I book?

For weddings, as early as possible to secure your date. Special events and other appointments can typically be booked based on availability. Availability depends on the date, season, and size of your booking.

Do you offer trial appointments?

Trial appointments are availble for bridal services only. They are highly recommended  if you are unsure of the look you want or would like to test out different hair and make up styles before your wedding day.

POLICIES & PAYMENTS

Can I add or remove services after booking?

Service additions are welcome! Additional services may be added to your booking up until two weeks before your wedding or event date, subject to availability.

Service reductions are not permitted after booking. Your original service selections are used to create your timeline and reserve the necessary time for your appointment. We are unable to refund any services booked.

When do I pay?

a 50% deposit is due at the time of booking to reserve your date. Your date is not secured until the deposit is reserved. Final payments are due one week before your wedding or event. Late payments will be subject to additional late fees.

Can I change my date after booking?

Date changes are subject to availability and your booking agreement. Please reach out as soon as possible if you need to discuss a change to your scheduled date.

BRIDAL & EVENTS

Do you offer services for bridal parties?

Yes! Bridal party services are available. A second artist may be needed depending on the size of your group, the location, and the amount of time allotted. Mood Beauty Society has selected artists that we contract out for larger parties. Additional fees for a second artist will be discussed at the time of booking.

When should everyone be ready on the wedding day?

Your final completion time will be determined based on your ceremony time or event start time, photography schedule, and the number or services booked.

What if my venue has limited access or a tight getting-ready timeline?

If you have a restriced amount of time available at your venue for getting-ready, this must be discussed before booking. Mood Beauty Society cannot accomodate extremely tight or compressed service timelines as we want to ensure there is enough time available to provide each service properly without rushing your experience. If your venue does not allow enough time for your requested services, you will need to arrange an alternative getting-ready location where there is more than enough time to comfortably complete all services.

AFTER YOUR APPOINTMENT

How can I make my hair and makeup last?

You will receive personalized reccommendations based on your service and the products used. For event and bridal makeup, factors such a weather, humidity, skin preperation, and touching your face can affect longevity.
